Batteries can be added to the photovoltaic system to store the electricity obtained through solar panels. They are rechargeable and allow for the storage of solar energy so that we can use the sun’s energy at night or when there’s a surplus to your demands.
If you can’t have a solar PV system, batteries can still be used on off-peak tariffs, saving money on your electricity bills. They can be set up on a timed off-peak charging cycle and will discharge through the day as you use electricity.
